Psyllium is a type of fiber that is able to pass through your digestive system without being completely broken down or absorbed. Caution: In some cases, a psyllium-clay colon cleanse can cause gas or constipation. Taking vitamin C or magnesium alongside this product may help prevent these symptoms. Do not take psyllium if you have difficulty swallowing or have kidney disease.
